La formule BASICS permet aux débutants, ainsi qu'aux personnes avec un peu d'expérience, à évoluer dans ce cours hebdomadaire complet de yoga.

Dans les cours BASICS vous apprendrez les postures (asanas) essentielles de tout cours de yoga. Vous acquérez rapidement les bases de tout cours de yoga. Ainsi vous serez guidé depuis les échauffements vers une posture finale.
Le sujet du cours change chaque semaine un peu. L'enseignante expériencée tâche de garder l'intensité du cours adapté aux attentes de chaque novice.

Les sujets dans les cours BASICS incluent:
- techniques de respiration
- l'alignement correct des postures
- les modifications selon les besoins indviduels
- techniques de détente active

Le SUNRISE Yoga est enseigné en Anglais.

Extra: la formule BASICS permet aussi l'accès au yoga SUNRISE du mardi matin à 7h-8h ! Soussignez un cours de votre carte et participez-y sans réserver.

The BASICS yoga package suits beginners, as well as anyone with some yoga practice, to experience a complete yoga class.

The BASICS class teaches you the essential yoga postures (asanas) which are used in any regular yoga class. You will be guided from a warm-up to postures preparing specifically for a “peak pose” and end the class with the final relaxtion.
While the theme of the class changes every week, your experienced yoga teacher makes sure that the intensity of the class suits beginning students.

Topics covered in the BASICS classes:
- proper breathing
- how to correctly align postures
- modifications for a safe yoga experience
- relaxation techniques

The BASICS yoga classes are taught in English.

Bonus: the BASICS package also includes access to the early-morning SUNRISE classes on tuesdays 7-8am. Simply show up, sign one class on your file.

Renowned Senior Teacher at Yogaworks in Los Angeles, Chad Hamrin has been practicing yoga since the early 1970’s. Ever since, he has been studying Iyengar, viniyoga, ashtanga, and kundalini yoga styles - as well as the martial arts. He has taught yoga for 40 years and also holds a black belt in Karate. He is a skilled bodyworker with extensive experience in polarity therapy, reiki, jin-shin do and deep tissue massage. His teaching brings together aspects of all these elements resulting in a style which emphasizes investigative awareness of the body, flow, mindfulness and breath, leading naturally into a deep insightful practice. From personal experience we can assure you that Chad Hamrin reads your nody like no one else, helping you to deepen your practice.

For Applicants of the 300-Hours Deep Flow Yoga Teacher Training: Chad Hamrin is one of our
lead teachers this fall, this immersion is a great oppurtunity to train with him before.

You do experience the continuous exchange of energy by coordinating movement with breath when flowing from one pose to the next, offering the heightened state of awareness. This Vinyasa Flow class is preceded by a brief talk about yoga.

STAND TALL ON YOUR FEET & ON YOUR HEAD
Standing poses are very demanding, yet they are an important part of any yoga sequence. Not only do they fulfill the strength/flexibility challenge but if brought to a place of harmony can create a place of suppleness which is what happens when the duality of strength and flexibility merge to finally disappear. Inversions are part of what makes yoga a complete science as a system. Physiological, metaphysical, psychological benefits are well known, but in order to achieve those benefits one must understand the very foundations of those poses like pincha myurasana, headstand, shoulderstand.

BRYAN a rencontré le yoga dynamique il y a plus de 30 ans avec David Williams, l'un des premiers instructeurs de yoga ashtanga en occident, avant de rencontrer K.Pattabhi Jois, le grand-maître du yoga ashtanga pour des stages intensifs en inde.
BRYAN enseigne depuis plus de 25 ans et a developpé le poweryoga pour une vie moderne plus saine et plus sereine. L'objectif est de permettre à de plus en plus de pratiquants d'équilibrer leur corps et leur mental.

La tendance à remplacer des entraînements de fitness par le yoga n'a rien de surprenant pour Bryan Kest, qui juge optimale la combinaison entre le travail physique limité du corps et l'aspect mental qui dépasse toutes limites. Le poweryoga offre toutes les variations d'épanouissement, incluant une condition physique sans comparaison et un mental calme, serein et centré.

BRYAN KEST has been practicing yoga for the past three decades. He initially studied with David Williams, the first person to bring ashtanga yoga to the US. He then studied intensively in India with K.Pattabhi Jois, ashtanga yoga's grand master.
BRYAN has been teaching yoga for 25 years and developped his own style of yoga, turning more and more people on to a healthier, more peaceful lifestyle that continually challenges them to grow. poweryoga is a system of exercise that fully integrates the body, mind, and spirit.

The trend towards yoga replacing the gym's work-out routine, comes as no surprise to Bryan Kest, who believes that the body is limited and the mind is limitless.
His poweryoga opens all variations of finding bliss, and comes together with a reinforced physical condition, a calm mind, serene and focused.
