C'est avec joie que nous apercevons enfin le fruit d'un travail de plusieurs mois mûrir avec l'arrivée du printemps. En effet, après de nombreuses recherches et de tests, nous pouvons désormais vous faire part de ces quelques nouveautés:

De nouveaux tapis de yoga à votre disposition.
Vous avez dès lors à disposition de nouveaux tapis de yoga. Spécialement conçus pour un confort optimal, vous pourrez apprécier l'épaisseur et la solidité de ces tapis de haute qualité.
Porte tapis sur mesure

Ils seront suspendu sur le porte tapis fait sur mesure à l'entrée de la salle de cours afin d'améliorer leur condition par une meilleur aération et un rangement simplifié. Vous disposerez également de plus d'espace dans la salle grâce à notre nouvel aménagement du matériel.

Serviette de Yoga en microfibre offerts pour les membres
Nous avons l'immense plaisir de pouvoir fournir à nos membres du studio à titre gracieux, une serviette en microfibre anti-dérapante. Vous pourrez la déposer sur votre tapis de yoga pour vos mains et tête, ou encore pour vous couvrir les yeux lors d'un savasana reposant.
Cette serviette antidérapante a spécialement été conçue pour être légère et facile à transporter afin de remplacer les petits linges en cotton dont nous diminueront petit à petit la distribution durant ces prochains jours.

Puisque 90% des petites serviettes, à peine utilisées, sont jetées avec le linge sale, nous vous demandons de nous aider à réduire ce gaspillage inutile et à contribuer au bien-être de l'environnement. Lorsque vous en aurez besoin, vous pourrez nettoyer vos nouvelles serviettes de la même façon que vos tenues de yoga.
Le bon karma repose sur une bonne action à la fois.

Les grandes serviettes restent disponibles
Les grands linges pour les douches restent bien évidemment à votre disposition, tout comme les gels douches bio. Il vous suffit de nous en faire la demande à la réception dès que besoin.

Custom-built storage rack
As they are now suspended on the custom-made yoga mat rack this allows for better airflow between these mats and simplifies the cleanup after class.

Complimentary Skidless Yoga Towel for Members
We do have the great pleasure to offer members of the studio (with yearly membership) one anti-skid hand-sized yoga towel.
Use it on the mat as hygienic barrier for your hands and face and finally use it to cover your eyes during a restful savasana.

This anti-skid yoga towel is light and small to carry and replaces the standard hand-sized cotton one, the use of which will be fading out gently over the coming days.
As up to 90% of barely used small towels were getting tossed with the dirty linen, you do help us reduce greatly the impact on the environment. When needed, simply toss your anti-skid yoga towel into the wash together with your yoga clothes.
Good karma is built one mindful action at a time.

Obviously, the large full sized towels for the showers will continue to be offered, just like the organic shower gels.

Renowned Senior Teacher at Yogaworks in Los Angeles, Chad Hamrin has been practicing yoga since the early 1970’s. Ever since, he has been studying Iyengar, viniyoga, ashtanga, and kundalini yoga styles - as well as the martial arts. He has taught yoga for 40 years and also holds a black belt in Karate. He is a skilled bodyworker with extensive experience in polarity therapy, reiki, jin-shin do and deep tissue massage. His teaching brings together aspects of all these elements resulting in a style which emphasizes investigative awareness of the body, flow, mindfulness and breath, leading naturally into a deep insightful practice. From personal experience we can assure you that Chad Hamrin reads your nody like no one else, helping you to deepen your practice.

For Applicants of the 300-Hours Deep Flow Yoga Teacher Training: Chad Hamrin is one of our

You do experience the continuous exchange of energy by coordinating movement with breath when flowing from one pose to the next, offering the heightened state of awareness. This Vinyasa Flow class is preceded by a brief talk about yoga.

STAND TALL ON YOUR FEET & ON YOUR HEAD
Standing poses are very demanding, yet they are an important part of any yoga sequence. Not only do they fulfill the strength/flexibility challenge but if brought to a place of harmony can create a place of suppleness which is what happens when the duality of strength and flexibility merge to finally disappear. Inversions are part of what makes yoga a complete science as a system. Physiological, metaphysical, psychological benefits are well known, but in order to achieve those benefits one must understand the very foundations of those poses like pincha myurasana, headstand, shoulderstand.

We will move from simpler backbends to more complex variations that are rarely taught in public classes. Learn how to practice these poses from a place of courage, breath and playfulness and gain valuable techniques.

UNDERSTAND HIP & SHOULDER OPENERS THROUGH TWISTING - all levels
Twisting postures are among the most beneficial for your body, yet they can also be harmful when not aligned properly. What role do shoulders and hips play… come and discover it.

BRYAN KEST has been practicing yoga for the past three decades. He initially studied with David Williams, the first person to bring ashtanga yoga to the US. He then studied intensively in India with K.Pattabhi Jois, ashtanga yoga's grand master.
BRYAN has been teaching yoga for 25 years and developped his own style of yoga, turning more and more people on to a healthier, more peaceful lifestyle that continually challenges them to grow. poweryoga is a system of exercise that fully integrates the body, mind, and spirit.

The trend towards yoga replacing the gym's work-out routine, comes as no surprise to Bryan Kest, who believes that the body is limited and the mind is limitless.
His poweryoga opens all variations of finding bliss, and comes together with a reinforced physical condition, a calm mind, serene and focused.
