Is it time for me to join a Yoga Teacher Training?
Yoga has become an integral part of your life, since you have been attending yoga classes for the past couple of years. The practice of the asanas makes you happy and gives you strength.
You talk passionately to your colleagues at work about your latest yoga class, or recall some of the hopefully wise words of your favorite teacher. You even apply this wisdom into your daily life at work.
You might even start remembering some of the more popular sanskrit names of the postures without ever wasting any second thoughts on the simple structure of sanskrit.
The first couple of years discovering yoga is what we like to call at the studio, “scratching the surface”.
But one day, the time comes that you seek to know more about the ancient practice of yoga, to deepen your knowledge of fundamental anatomy and how it integrates with the physical postures.
Once you start digging deeper, you become aware that there are many more layers that make a complete yoga practice.
For one there is the philosophy of yoga. Written down in sutras, it is out there guiding you like the north star though life.
Wait! Yoga is not a religion? Nope, it is a complete system of physical and mental benefits that you will never get tired to explore.
And you realize that the physical practice of yoga is easy to explore, making you feel the direct impact of tremendous health benefits it brings to your body.
In the 200 hours Deep Flow Yoga Teacher Training, you will learn the 80+ most essential yoga postures from ground up.
You will learn their sanskrit names and their meaning.
You will learn how to build each pose safely. You will discover adjustment techniques adapted to your individual body to get the best out of it, while preventing potential injuries.
You will learn effective sequencing to reach specific benefits for your body and mind.
You will read other students’ bodies to help them effectively.
You will be guided by a highly trained senior teacher trainer who has been leading yoga teacher trainings world-wide for the past 12 years.
Now, you may object that you are not interested in sharing your personal practice with anyone else, that teaching yoga is not your thing. Over half of the teacher trainees do attend the program out of personal interest! And if you are like them, you will graduate from the training, rich in experiences, stronger in your body and more resilient in your mind.
Because learning from the best information sources will get you more knowledgeable and even more aware of the next layers of yoga to discover!
